Psychotherapy for men · Durham Region & virtual
A better way forward.
Therapy for men who want to better understand themselves, navigate life’s challenges, and build healthier relationships.
Is this for me?
You don’t need to be falling apart to benefit from therapy.
Sometimes life is working on the surface, but something still feels difficult, disconnected or out of balance. Maybe some of this sounds familiar.
- Work is fine on paper, but I’m running on empty.
- Small things set me off, and I’m not sure why.
- Conversations at home keep ending up in the same place.
- Something big has changed, and I’m still finding my footing.
- I know something needs to change. I just don’t know where to start.
If any of that rings true, you’re in the right place. You don’t have to have it all figured out before you reach out.
The approach
Therapy isn’t about fixing what’s wrong with you.
It’s about understanding yourself more deeply and finding a way forward that feels right for you.
Professional expertise
Knowledgeable, ethical and evidence-informed care from a Registered Psychotherapist focused on the challenges men face.
Human connection
A space to be honest without fear of judgment, where you’re spoken to like an adult, not someone who needs fixing.
Practical support
Build self-awareness, develop skills you can actually use, and work toward the changes that matter to you.
Meet your therapist
Hi, I’m Nick.
Nick Daze · Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO)
I work with men who want to understand themselves better and handle life with more clarity and confidence, whether something specific has gone wrong or life just feels heavier than it should.
Our sessions will be straightforward and collaborative. We’ll talk honestly, go at your pace, and focus on what’s actually useful to you.
You don’t have to become someone else to move forward. Understanding yourself is a place to start.
Areas of support
Support for what you’re navigating.
Anxiety & stress
A mind that won’t switch off, and tension you carry everywhere.
Burnout
Running on empty at work, at home, or both.
Relationships & communication
The same arguments on repeat, or feeling distant from the people closest to you.
Emotional regulation
Feelings that show up all at once, or not at all.
Anger & frustration
Reactions that cost you more than you’d like.
Life transitions
Separation, divorce, a new career, a loss. When the ground shifts.
Fatherhood
The pressures and questions that come with being a dad.
Self-esteem & confidence
A harsh inner critic and the feeling of not measuring up.
Men’s mental health
Low mood, feeling flat, or carrying things quietly for too long.
Therapy is part of life, not a sign that you’ve failed at it.
How it works
